Privacy, kept simple.
DreamRing is a ring style consultation app. We designed this release to minimize data collection and avoid account creation.
Data we process
- Style survey choices you enter in the app, such as occasion, stone shape, metal, setting, budget range, lifestyle, and design preferences.
- Optional free-form inspiration text if you choose to enter it.
- Style survey choices and optional inspiration text may be sent to DreamRing's Cloudflare Worker and AI generation provider to create ring concepts.
- Optional hand photos selected through Apple's photo picker may be sent to DreamRing's Cloudflare Worker and OpenAI to generate AI try-on previews on your hand.
- The sample hand image is bundled with the app and may be sent instead if you skip uploading your own photo.
- Purchase and subscription status is handled by Apple through StoreKit. The app reads the entitlement state needed to unlock premium features.
What we do not collect
We do not create user accounts, collect precise location, track you across apps or websites, sell personal data, use third-party advertising SDKs, or include analytics SDKs in this build.
Service providers
Apple processes in-app purchases and subscriptions. Cloudflare hosts this policy, terms, support site, and AI request proxy. OpenAI may process ring concept prompts and optional hand photos to generate images. These providers are expected to protect data consistently with their own privacy commitments and applicable law.
Retention, deletion, and consent
Survey choices, story text, and selected photos are kept on your device for the current app experience unless you remove or replace them, clear the app, or delete the app. DreamRing does not create an account or store a server-side profile in this release. AI generation requests are processed to return ring try-on images and are not used by DreamRing to build an account profile. You can avoid uploading a personal photo by using the bundled sample hand. If you contact support, we retain the message only as long as needed to respond and maintain support records.
Children
DreamRing is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If future releases add account features, analytics, server-side photo processing, or materially different AI processing, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before release.
